Training
The club trains during throughout the year on a Thursday Night at Pyle Pool from 08:00 until 10:00. Training consists of a mixture of fitness and lifesaving awards. Please see membership section for details of how to join
During the summer the club train on a Sunday at Rest Bay from 10:30 until 1:00 and Youth/Senior/Master on a Tuesday from 18:00 until 19:30. Club hats must be worn!
The club fully complies with all SLSA and NSPCC Guidelines for working with children and vulnerable adults.
Nippers
Nippers are aged from 7 to 12 and the Nippper Section is one of the most important in the lifeguard club. We train down the beach from May to September from 10.30am until 1.00pm and also at the pool every Thursday from 8.00pm until 8.45pm.
We have an active awards program during the Summer and Winter, attend Nipper Carnivals and Nipper Camp. At the end of August each year we run our own Nipper Carnival.

Juniors
Juniors are aged from 12 to 19. We train down the beach from May through to September on a Sunday from 10.00am until 1.00pm, and also at the pool every Thursday from 8.45pm until 9.25pm.
We have a first class Junior section, we enter National and International Competition. We will also help you pass Lifesaving Awards that mean you can work as a professional Lifeguard.

Seniors & Masters
Seniors are those U30, and Masters are aged from 30 onwards. We compete in Stillwater and Ocean Championships. Masters tend to be coaches or just older members who enjoy fitness. There are several swim sessions per week where club members train as well as lanes at our dedicated Thursday training night session from 9.25- 10pm.
